Ice Quarstone gives you a white, lightly speckled stone-look surface with a stone-like texture you can feel - on a slab that arrives as a board and is cut and fitted like a worktop, not a slab of stone.
Ice Quarstone is Formica Aria decor F5212: a white stone-effect compact laminate worktop with a textured matt finish, made as a single solid slab in 12mm or 20mm with a square edge. It is waterproof through the core and comes with a 10-year manufacturer guarantee. The 3.6m x 650 x 12mm worktop is GBP 397 inc VAT.
Aria is pressed as one compact laminate slab with the decor on both faces and the colour through the thickness, so cut edges are finished square and sinks can be undermounted - no core to protect.
Ice Quarstone is a white with fine, even speckling in soft grey, the look Formica describe as natural stone, and the textured matt surface adds a faint stone-like grain under the hand. It has no veins to line up at a joint, which makes it one of the easiest decors to fit across a long L-shaped run. Under lighting it stays matt and even rather than picking up reflections.
Works with: grey, sage or black doors where you want the worktop to read as stone, or white units for a bright stone-look kitchen on a budget. The matching upstand and 6mm splashback carry the same speckle up the wall.

The even pattern means joints are easy to place anywhere on a run. Cut with a compact laminate blade, finish the edge with a router, join with a jointing kit and colour-matched sealant. An undermount sink is fine: the slab is solid and waterproof, so the opening is finished and sealed rather than edged. Ask us about cut to size before delivery if that suits.
Textured matt surfaces like Ice Quarstone hide smears well but hold dried cleaner in the grain, so wipe with warm water and rinse. Avoid scourers, cream cleaners and standing bleach. Use a trivet for hot pans and a board for cutting.
Is Ice Quarstone any good? For the white stone look it is the practical choice - the speckled stone effect is convincing, the texture feels like stone, there are no veins to match, and it is a solid waterproof slab with a ten-year guarantee at laminate money. It is still compact laminate: support it properly, cut it with the right tooling, and do not expect to sand out a deep chip.

Yes. With an even speckle there is no pattern to align, so a joint can sit wherever the kitchen layout needs it. Joints still use a compact laminate jointing kit and colour-matched sealant.
12mm for the slimmest edge on a supported run; 20mm if you want a thicker stone-like profile or have a long island overhang. The material is the same throughout.
Yes. The slab is waterproof through its core, so the cut edge of the sink opening is simply finished and sealed. Belfast sinks are fitted the same way.
Only a rinse: wipe with warm water and a soft cloth and do not let cleaner dry into the texture. No abrasives or cream cleaners.
