A plain white worktop can look clinical. Neo Cloud keeps the brightness of white but adds a soft, drifting pattern that gives the surface some movement and hides the odd crumb between wipes.
Neo Cloud is Formica Aria decor F6314: a white quartz-effect compact laminate worktop - Formica call it reminiscent of modern quartz looks - with a soft, wispy grey vein and a semi gloss finish, made as a single solid slab in 12mm or 20mm with a square edge. Waterproof through the core, 10-year manufacturer guarantee. The 3.6m x 650 x 12mm worktop is GBP 397 inc VAT.

Neo Cloud is a white quartz effect between plain white and a marble: a warm off-white ground with a soft, wispy pale grey vein over a fine granular speckle, more like light through cloud than a bold marble vein. It reads as white from across the room and reveals its pattern close up, which makes it a forgiving surface for a busy kitchen. The semi gloss gives a gentle sheen without turning the pattern glassy.
Works with: grey or greige doors for a tonal scheme, pale timber for warmth, or navy where you want the white to lift. The Neo Cloud upstand and splashback continue the pattern up the wall so the hob area does not become a block of plain colour.

Because the pattern runs through the slab a router-finished edge shows the same clouding as the top, so square edges and sink cut-outs need no edging strip. Cut with a compact laminate blade, finish with a router, join with a jointing kit and colour-matched sealant, and undermount the sink if you want to - the slab is waterproof through and through. Day to day, water and a soft cloth. The soft pattern hides light marks between cleans, but treat it as a premium surface: no abrasives, no cream cleaners, no standing bleach, trivets under hot pans and a board under the knife.
Is Neo Cloud any good? For anyone who finds plain white too stark and marble too busy, it is the sensible answer: white enough to brighten a room, patterned enough to be practical, and a solid waterproof slab under a ten-year guarantee. Like all compact laminate it is a slab that needs proper support and tooling, and deep damage is not repairable by sanding.

It goes through. Aria is a single compact laminate slab decorated on both faces with the pattern in the full thickness, so a cut edge shows the same Neo Cloud as the surface.

Yes - the slab is solid and waterproof through its core, so the sink opening is cut, finished and sealed with no swelling risk. Belfast sinks are handled the same way.
With a compact laminate jointing kit: bolts pull the joint together from underneath and a colour-matched sealant finishes it. The result is a fine seam, not a dark line.
Scouring pads, cream cleaners and bleach left standing. Warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid does the job and keeps the semi gloss even.
