Delivery Information

PlumbXtra offers free delivery on most plumbing and heating products to mainland UK addresses. For Kartell brand radiators and bathroom items, free delivery applies on orders over £500.

Boilers are excluded from all free delivery offers. Delivery charges for boilers are quoted separately at checkout.

Prices are inclusive of delivery to mainland UK only. For deliveries to remote parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland or other locations, please contact us with your postcode and items for a shipping quote.

Most orders arrive within 7 working days of placing your order. If your order is likely to take longer, we will always let you know in advance. If you have a specific deadline, let our team know when you order and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Next Day Delivery

Next day delivery is available on selected radiators, bathrooms, heating controls and other products. To qualify for same-day dispatch, your order must be completed before 12pm Monday to Friday.

Orders placed on Friday before 12pm will arrive the following Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on Saturday will arrive on Tuesday. Remote UK locations are exempt from next day delivery.

Delivery Details

Our UK mainland deliveries are carried out by contracted carriers who deliver Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (excluding public holidays).

  • All deliveries must be signed for — please keep your receipt
  • We are unable to leave items with neighbours or in unattended areas
  • For large or heavy items such as radiators and bathroom suites, please ensure adequate help is available to assist the driver
  • If you are not available for delivery, a redelivery charge may apply
  • Delivery dates are approximate — no liability is accepted for late deliveries
Do not arrange installation until your items have been delivered and fully inspected for damage. Open all boxes as soon as they arrive.

Transit Damage

We thoroughly inspect all goods before dispatch to ensure they leave our warehouse in perfect condition. However, transit damage can sometimes occur.

  • Obvious damage on delivery: Please refuse to accept the delivery and notify us immediately on 01282 429061
  • Damage found after opening: You must inform PlumbXtra within 48 hours of receipt
  • Signing for delivery: If you cannot inspect immediately, sign the delivery document as “unchecked”

In all cases, we will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible. You have 2 working days to notify us of any damage, shortages, or incorrect items.

Returns Policy

Cancelling Your Order

To cancel your order, please notify us by phone on 01282 429061 before the goods have been dispatched.

Returning Items

If goods have already been dispatched, you can return them for any reason within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. The cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Returns outside of 14 days may be refused. If accepted, a restocking charge of up to 35% of the order value may apply. The restocking fee varies between 0% and 50% depending on the product and manufacturer.

Restocking charges cover:

  • Cost of transporting the product back into stock
  • Cost of storing the product until prepared for resale
  • Cost of testing the product to ensure it is safe for resale
  • Cost of any product repackaging

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The product has been used or installed
  • The original packaging has been opened, damaged or tampered with
  • Any security seal has been broken
  • The product is not in the same condition in which it was delivered

Manufacturers will not accept returns once a product has been fitted. Please telephone us on 01282 429061 before returning any goods.

Faulty Goods

All goods sold by PlumbXtra are fully guaranteed against faults in manufacture, materials or workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty applies to domestic use only.

  • Within 28 days: Faulty goods may be returned for a replacement or full refund
  • 28 days to 12 months: Replacement only (not refund)
  • Faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse are not covered by the warranty

Faulty parts will be returned to the manufacturer for testing. If confirmed faulty, PlumbXtra will credit 100% of the original value.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Shortage, defects or damage must be reported within 2 days of delivery
  • Unwanted goods returned to stock may incur a 35% restocking charge
  • Non-stock items ordered specifically for you are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once dispatched

Upon receipt of returned goods, we will issue a refund, exchange or credit as appropriate.

Back Orders & Pricing

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will place the order with our supplier and let you know the estimated delivery date. You can cancel your order at any time if the wait time does not suit you.

Pricing

While we do our best to ensure pricing is accurate, we reserve the right to adjust prices to account for supplier price changes, tax or duty increases, or errors. Product images are for illustration and may not exactly match the delivered item. All prices and product information are subject to change without notice.

Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

These terms cover the PlumbXtra website only. We accept no responsibility for the content of external websites linked from this site. We are required by law to inform you that sales are concluded in English only and we do not file copies of customer contracts.
