Moonstone White is a white granite effect solid surface worktop from Coreluxe: a 19mm acrylic board in warm white with a very fine speckle, satin finish, non-porous and waterproof. The 3000 x 650mm worktop and the 2000 x 920mm breakfast bar are GBP 498 each inc VAT, with a matching upstand at GBP 95.
Coreluxe Moonstone White arrives as a square-edged board with unfinished edges and a protective film left on until cutting is done. The edges are sanded on site to match the satin top.
The speckle in Moonstone White is small and pale - a scatter of cream and grey grains rather than the bold chips of a real granite - so the overall impression is a soft, warm white with depth. That fine texture is the practical reason to choose it over a plain white: crumbs, water marks and light wear disappear into the pattern instead of standing out.
Works with: grey or greige shaker doors, soft sage, brushed brass handles, and warm wood floors. It also suits a white kitchen where a flat white top would feel too stark. Add the Moonstone White upstand to finish the wall line.

Moonstone White is cut and joined like any solid surface: fine-tooth blade, router-finished edges, internal corners drilled with a 12mm or larger bit, and the joint glued with the White solid surface adhesive. The fine speckle helps a joint blend in. Give the boards and adhesive 24 hours at room temperature before fitting - temperature affects how the adhesive cures.
Wipe Moonstone White with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry. For a stubborn mark on this satin finish, a light circular scrub with a wet sponge and a little abrasive cleaner works, but do not scrub hard or the sheen will change. Use a chopping board and a trivet.
