A vertical column radiator puts the heat where a horizontal one will not fit. This 2 column vertical radiator is 1800mm tall in five widths from a slim 245mm to 560mm, plus a 1500mm height in white, and it stands just 92mm off the wall. The 1800 x 560mm gives 5,074 BTU, enough for a good sized room from a strip of wall barely half a metre wide.
Every DUSC Columns radiator is made from mild steel with a hard-wearing white or black powder coat and carries a 5 year guarantee. You get the look of a tall cast iron column radiator at a fraction of the weight, and because the pipe centres match the width, it lines up easily with the pipework.

Replacing an existing radiator? On this range the pipe centres are the same as the width - a 425mm wide radiator has 425mm pipe centres. Pick the width that matches your current pipework and it drops straight on, with no re-piping.
Fitting is a routine job for any plumber or a confident DIY installer.
Connects to a standard UK two-pipe central heating system.
Valves fit at the foot of each end column. Add 90mm to the pipe centre measurement when fitting with valves.
Brackets hold the radiator 92mm off the wall, with the pipes 68mm out - allow for that when planning skirting or furniture.
It is heavier full of water: fix into masonry or studwork, and use fixings rated for the filled weight on plasterboard.
Flush the system and dose inhibitor after fitting, as with any steel radiator.
Mounting & Valves
This is a wall mounted vertical radiator and does not take floor feet. It fixes on the brackets supplied.
The wall fixings carry the full filled weight. Allow for the water on top of the empty weight in the specification, and use fixings rated accordingly - especially on plasterboard or stud walls.
Traditional cross-head valves complete the period look.
A thermostatic valve holds a room at a set temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes - heat output depends on the size and the number of columns, not which way up the radiator stands. Our 1800 x 425mm 2 column vertical gives 3,806 BTU, about the same as a 600 x 1190mm 2 column horizontal at 3,839 BTU, from about a third of the wall width.
Choose the height first - 1800mm for a full height feature, 1500mm where there is less wall above - then the width that fits the space and your pipework. Check the BTU in the size table against the heat the room needs.

Yes - it works on any wet central heating system, including a heat pump. The outputs on this page are at Delta T50, typical of a boiler. At Delta T30 any radiator gives out roughly half its Delta T50 figure, so size up and ask your installer for the heat loss of the room.
