Landings and stairwells lose more heat than any other space in a period home, and this is the radiator that fixes them. Nine white sections climbing 1800mm supply 4,995 BTU (1,464W) at Delta T60 from only 425mm of wall - heat that rises through the stairwell instead of vanishing into it. In gloss white it sits quietly against almost any paint colour, looking original to houses it was never plumbed into.
The two-column body runs 68mm deep in laser-welded mild steel, pressure tested to 10 bar with a five year Kartell guarantee. Brackets and fixings are supplied; traditional cross-head valves in chrome complete the heritage effect.
Range photography is for illustration - the number of sections varies with the size ordered. This listing is the 1800 x 425mm 2 column model with 9 sections. Dimension drawing included in the gallery.
Start with the room, not the radiator: output should match the space's heat loss.
| Output at Delta T60 (Kartell published) | 4,995 BTU / 1,464W |
|---|---|
| Output at Delta T50 (calculated, EN442 factor) | approx. 3,941 BTU / 1,155W |
| Typical room coverage | roughly 9-12 square metres in an average UK home |
Coverage is a guide only - insulation, glazing area and ceiling height change the sums. Use a BTU calculator with your room dimensions before ordering, and size up slightly for north-facing or draughty rooms.

Installation is a routine job for any plumber or competent DIYer used to hanging radiators.
Valves are not included. You need a pair: one wheelhead or thermostatic (TRV) valve plus one lockshield. Angled valves suit pipework rising from the floor; straight valves suit wall-fed pipe runs.
See our radiator valves range - the Kartell TRV and lockshield twin packs pair perfectly.
Orders are picked from live UK stock. Radiators are palletised or double-boxed and checked before dispatch - please inspect on arrival and note any transit damage with the driver.
