A sanding kit for finishing acrylic solid surface worktops with an orbital sander: twelve abrasive pads in six grits from 120 to 500, plus isopropanol for cleaning the surface. Use it to sand a glued joint flush and blend it into the top, or to bring an existing solid surface worktop back to an even finish. Step-by-step sanding instructions are included.

• 1 x 250ml bottle of isopropanol (alcohol)
• 2 x 120 grit pads
• 2 x 180 grit pads
• 2 x 240 grit pads
• 2 x 320 grit pads
• 2 x 360 grit pads
• 2 x 500 grit pads

You will also need

An orbital sander and a lint-free cloth - neither is included. Work up through the grits in order; kitchen worktops are normally finished at 500 grit, which is more resistant to visible scratches.
