Elemental Graphite is the dark twin of Elemental Concrete: the same mottled, trowelled surface in a deep graphite grey, on a solid slab that needs no sealing and sits in the lower price band.
Elemental Graphite is Formica Aria decor F8833: a dark concrete-effect compact laminate worktop in a deep graphite grey with a textured matt finish, made as one solid slab in 12mm or 20mm with a square edge. Waterproof through the core, 10-year manufacturer guarantee. The 3.6m x 650 x 12mm worktop is GBP 268 inc VAT.
Formica press Aria as one compact laminate slab with the decor on both faces and the colour through the thickness - the reason the edge is square, the slab is thin and a sink can be undermounted.
Elemental Graphite is a deep graphite grey with the soft mottling of polished concrete and no veining. The textured matt surface gives it a chalky, industrial feel and keeps fingerprints and smears from showing. It is darker and moodier than Elemental Concrete and warmer than a flat black, and with no pattern to align it joints easily on long runs.
Works with: light oak or birch for a warm industrial kitchen, white doors for contrast, or dark green and brass for depth. The Elemental Graphite upstand and splashback keep the dark concrete running up the wall.

With no pattern to match, a joint can go anywhere the layout needs. Cut with a compact laminate blade, router-finish the square edge - it is graphite through, so the edge matches - and join with a compact laminate jointing kit and colour-matched sealant. The slab is waterproof through, so undermount sinks are fine. Ask us about cut to size before you order.
Never needs sealing - the surface is non-porous. Wipe with warm water and rinse so cleaner does not dry in the texture. No scourers, cream cleaners or standing bleach. Trivet under pans, board under knives.
Is Elemental Graphite any good? For a dark concrete look it is hard to beat on value: convincing surface, nothing to seal, solid waterproof slab, square edge, ten-year guarantee, lower price band. The trade-offs are compact laminate's - proper support, the right tooling, and deep damage that cannot be ground out.
