Yes — the Wi-Fi element connects only to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks, not 5GHz. Most home routers broadcast both bands — in the app pairing wizard, select your 2.4GHz network. If your router is set to 5GHz only, you’ll need to enable the 2.4GHz band first.
The element retains its last schedule and target temperature, and continues running on its internal programme. It just won’t accept any remote control changes until Wi-Fi is restored. The on-unit touch controls always work.
Yes — IP44 rated for UK bathroom zone 2 installation with appropriate clearance from water sources. The fused spur must be outside zones 0, 1 and 2.
