Nebbia Oak with Timber finish — warm, misty, naturally beautiful

The Nebbia Oak decor brings warm, misty woodgrain beauty into contemporary kitchen spaces. With its soft, weathered oak tones and authentic timber grain pattern, this design adds natural character and warmth to any kitchen — from modern rustic to classic country, from Scandi-minimalist to traditional farmhouse. Unlike standard laminates, Formica high-pressure laminate is engineered to resist impact, moisture, and daily wear while maintaining its beautiful woodgrain finish.

Timber is a natural woodgrain texture that feels authentic to the touch — never glossy or distracting. It works across full worktops, breakfast bars, islands, and matching upstands or splashbacks for a perfectly coordinated kitchen.

Matching upstands and splashbacks available

All Formica Originals worktop designs can be continued onto your walls with coordinated upstands and splashbacks — protecting walls while creating a refined, seamless finish.

A continuous, tight curve wraps around the front edge — sleek, contemporary, and seamless. No separate edge strip to fail over time.
Timber Woodgrain Texture
An authentic woodgrain texture that captures the natural feel of real timber. Timber provides a tactile, natural finish that brings warmth and character to your kitchen.
Non-Porous & Hygienic
Liquids cannot penetrate the surface. Spills wipe away instantly — no staining, no bacteria trap, no sealing required.
Installation Flexibility
HPL can be cut and installed on-site using standard woodworking tools. Works with undermount or top-mount sinks.

A worktop that stays beautiful with very little effort.

Because Formica HPL is non-porous and water-resistant, daily cleaning is straightforward. No sealing, no special oils, no re-finishing.

Daily Cleaning

Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. Dry with a clean cloth to avoid water marks.

Spillages

Wipe immediately — liquids cannot penetrate the laminate surface. Coffee, wine, and oil will not leave permanent stains.

What to avoid

Abrasive pads, bleach, solvent-based cleaners, or undiluted bleach. These can permanently damage the laminate finish.

Heat protection

Always use a trivet or heat mat under hot pans. Direct sustained heat can affect the surface over time.

Cutting

Always use a chopping board. Knives will scratch any worktop surface, including HPL.

On-site cutting

Can be cut with standard woodworking tools. Finished edges are factory-sealed; field-cut edges should be sealed with matching edge sealant.

Postformed worktops (like Axis) have a continuous laminate wrap over the front edge — no visible joint, no separate edge strip. Straight-edged worktops require a separate edging strip. Postformed is more durable, seamless, and easier to keep clean.

Yes. The 38mm thick HPL construction provides good support for undermount sink installations. We recommend professional installation for any sink or hob cutout.

No. Formica HPL is non-porous and factory-sealed. Unlike timber or composite stone, it never requires sealing, oiling, or re-finishing.

Yes. Sizes up to 4000 × 900 × 38mm are available with two finished long edges — ideal for peninsulas, breakfast bars, and kitchen islands.

Yes — all worktop designs in the Formica Originals Worktop Collection are also available as matching upstands and splashbacks. This creates a perfectly coordinated, joint-free look from worktop to wall.

Timber is a natural woodgrain texture that provides an authentic, tactile feel. It captures the natural grain and character of real timber while offering the durability and easy maintenance of high-pressure laminate.

Yes. Nebbia Oak features Formica's high-definition print technology combined with the Timber texture, creating an authentic, natural-looking oak finish with warm, misty tones and realistic grain that captures the beauty of natural oak.
