Sovereign Greystone is the second design in Formica's Sovereign series: a mid-toned grey base lifted by delicate gold and bronze inclusions. It balances an industrial edge with a little warmth, and suits contemporary kitchens that want depth and texture without a busy pattern. Unlike natural stone, Formica high-pressure laminate needs no sealing and resists impact, moisture and daily wear.
Satin NDF is a smooth, soft-to-touch finish with a gentle overall sheen that stops well short of gloss. It works across full worktops, breakfast bars, islands, and matching upstands or splashbacks for a perfectly coordinated kitchen.

Because Formica HPL is non-porous and water-resistant, daily cleaning is straightforward. No sealing, no special oils, no re-finishing.
Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. Dry with a clean cloth to avoid water marks.
Wipe immediately — liquids cannot penetrate the laminate surface. Coffee, wine, and oil will not leave permanent stains.
Abrasive pads, bleach, solvent-based cleaners, or undiluted bleach. These can permanently damage the laminate finish.
Always use a trivet or heat mat under hot pans. Direct sustained heat can affect the surface over time.
Always use a chopping board. Knives will scratch any worktop surface, including HPL.
Can be cut with standard woodworking tools. Finished edges are factory-sealed; field-cut edges should be sealed with matching edge sealant.
Postformed worktops have the laminate wrapped over a curved front edge. Square-edge worktops, like this one, have a crisp, square front edge that arrives factory-finished, and cut ends are finished with a matching edging strip.
