Beige Arizona is the FENIX decor for kitchens built around warmth - oak, terracotta, cream - where white feels cold and grey feels flat. The surface does what every FENIX does: no fingerprints, and micro-scratches iron out.
Marks iron out. Superficial micro-scratches on Beige Arizona heal under damp kitchen paper and an iron at 120 C for no more than 30 seconds - wipe dry and the surface is back. The method is for surface marks; chips and deep gouges are permanent.
Beige Arizona is FENIX NTM decor 0748, a warm matt beige solid 12mm compact laminate worktop by Arpa Industriale. Anti-fingerprint and soft to the touch, non-porous and resistant to household chemicals, it heals superficial micro-scratches at 120 C and takes dry heat to 160 C. GBP 431 for a 3m x 645mm board, 10-year guarantee.
Beige Arizona is a soft, sandy beige with a hint of grey that keeps it from going yellow - think limestone rather than magnolia. Its extreme matt gives it the chalky depth of natural stone without stone's porosity or price. It is the natural partner to oak, walnut and cream cabinetry, and the gentlest FENIX decor to live with in a small or north-facing kitchen.
Works with: oak, walnut and cream doors, terracotta floors, warm brass or bronze fittings, and white where you want the white softened. Rarely the island colour - usually the perimeter that lets a darker island stand out.

A pale warm colour and a non-porous surface make Beige Arizona easy: warm water and a soft cloth for everything daily, washing-up liquid for grease. Keep to the manufacturer's rules - no abrasive creams, scouring sponges, steel wool or sandpaper, no strong acids or alkalis left standing, and no wax-based sprays that leave a film. A melamine sponge used gently is the approved answer to a stubborn mark; the damp-paper-and-iron method handles a micro-scratch.
Is it any good? Beige Arizona is the FENIX decor that makes the most sense in traditional and warm-toned kitchens, where the usual alternatives are porous stone or laminate that yellows at the hob. It is non-porous, rated to 160 C dry heat, anti-fingerprint and self-healing on surface marks. Like all solid 12mm boards it needs support beneath it, and a chip will not repair.
Grey-leaning. It is a warm sand rather than a cream or magnolia, which is why it sits well with both oak and white. Because FENIX is extremely matt it does not take on the colour of the room's lighting the way a gloss surface would.
No. The surface is non-porous and highly resistant to household reagents, and its dry-heat rating is 160 C, so the yellowing and staining that cheap pale laminate develops around a hob does not happen. A trivet remains sensible for very hot pans.

More than 60 percent paper and 30 to 40 percent thermosetting resins pressed at over 7 MPa, with a decorative surface of acrylic resins fixed by electron beam curing. The result is a dense, non-porous board that Arpa Industriale certify for food contact (NSF).
