The Serre electric radiator is designed for easy DIY installation. It comes with a standard UK plug and wall brackets. Simply mount it on the wall (or use the included feet for freestanding placement), plug in, and connect to WiFi via the Smart Life app.
Yes — the radiator works perfectly as a standalone electric radiator. You can control it directly using the buttons on the unit and the LCD display. WiFi and app control are optional extras for enhanced convenience.

The Serre electric radiator has an IPX4 rating, meaning it's splash‑proof and suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the immediate shower or bath area). It should not be installed inside a shower enclosure or directly above a bath.
When the radiator detects a sudden temperature drop of around 2‑3°C within a short period, it automatically pauses heating for 30‑60 minutes. This prevents energy waste from heating a room with an open window or door.
