Vaillant aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump

The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus is a next-generation air source heat pump offering an energy-efficient, low-carbon solution for domestic heating and hot water. Designed for both retrofit and new-build projects, it’s compact, ultra-quiet, and easy to install—making it ideal for a wide range of homes, including those in densely built residential areas.

Using R290 (propane), a natural refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 3, the aroTHERM Plus achieves outstanding performance with flow temperatures of up to 75°C. This eliminates the need for direct electric immersion heating and enables an anti-legionella cycle using only the heat pump. It’s suitable for use with radiators, underfloor heating, and fan coils—even in sub-zero temperatures down to -25°C.

With a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) of up to 5.03, the system delivers excellent energy efficiency, and its compatibility with photovoltaic systems and smart grids allows for even greater cost savings through variable electricity tariffs.

The integrated sensoCOMFORT control system offers full system management and easy operation, while the innovative Sound Safe System ensures whisper-quiet performance—earning the Quiet Mark accreditation.
