Vaillant aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump
The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus is a next-generation air source heat pump offering an energy-efficient, low-carbon solution for domestic heating and hot water. Designed for both retrofit and new-build projects, it’s compact, ultra-quiet, and easy to install—ideal for a wide range of homes.
Using R290 (propane), a natural refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 3, the aroTHERM Plus achieves excellent performance with flow temperatures up to 75°C. This removes the need for direct electric immersion and allows anti-legionella cycles using only the heat pump. It performs reliably down to -25°C and is compatible with radiators, underfloor heating, and fan coils.
With a SCOP of up to 5.03, the system delivers excellent efficiency. It also supports integration with photovoltaic systems and smart power grids to reduce running costs via flexible electricity tariffs.
The included sensoCOMFORT controller provides easy system management, and the ultra-quiet operation has earned the Quiet Mark accreditation.
